115mm resin fibre sanding disc with a 22mm bore, in grits 36, 60, 80 and 100, for angle grinders with a backing pad.
Description
A resin fibre sanding disc for angle grinders, used with a rubber backing pad (sold separately). The stiff vulcanised fibre backing and aluminium oxide grain remove weld seams, rust, mill scale and old paint fast on steel.
Coarse grits strip and shape, while finer grits blend and smooth out scratches before painting. Check that the maximum speed marked on the disc is at least the no-load speed of your machine, keep the guard on, and wear eye protection, gloves and a dust mask.
Used for:
- Removing rust, scale and old paint
- Blending welds and shaping metal
- Preparing steel for painting
Not for use without a backing pad.
