21-piece tap and die set from 3mm to 12mm, for cutting and repairing threads.
Description
A 21-piece tap and die set covering metric threads from 3mm to 12mm. Taps cut internal threads in drilled holes and dies cut external threads on rod and bolts, and both clean up damaged threads. Check the set contents for the holders included.
Drill the correct tapping size for the thread, use cutting oil, and turn half a turn forward and a quarter back to break the chips. Keep the tap square to the work.
