Nylon nail-in anchor with a steel nail, for quick fixing of battens, brackets and clips into brick, block and concrete.
Description
A one-piece fixing: drill straight through the item into the wall, push the nylon sleeve in and hammer the nail home. The nail spreads the sleeve against the sides of the hole, so there is no separate plug and screw to line up. That makes it fast for battens, skirting, cable trays and conduit clips.
The diameter is the drill size. Drill a little deeper than the anchor length and clear the dust first. The 6 x 60mm has a countersunk head that sits flush in a countersunk hole.
Used for:
- Fixing timber battens and skirting
- Brackets, clips and trunking on masonry
- Door frames and window sills
Not for ceilings or heavy overhead loads.
