Solid Brass Mortice Hinge 14mm

Description

A small hinge made of solid brass, listed in our stock as 14 mm. It is set into a shallow recess (mortice) cut in the box and lid, so the lid closes flush. Solid brass does not rust. The maker, leaf length and pack quantity are not given in our stock data.

Cut the recess to the leaf thickness. Drill small pilot holes so the soft brass screws do not snap, and use brass screws to match.

Used for:

• Small cabinets and display cases
• Craft and model work

Not for: full-size doors.
