KonstruktIt Hasp & Staple, Galvanised, Light 55mm

Description

The galvanised version of our light 55mm hasp and staple, which we also stock in brass plate. Galvanising suits outdoor use on sheds, gates, chicken runs and garden boxes, where a plated finish would rust sooner. At 55mm it is a light-duty hasp, made to keep doors closed and take a small padlock rather than to resist a determined break-in.

Fit the hasp to the door and the staple to the frame so they meet squarely when the door is shut, with screws long enough to bite into solid timber. Use galvanised or stainless screws outdoors.

Used for:

• Garden sheds and outbuildings
• Gates, hutches and chicken runs
• Tool boxes and storage chests

Not for high-security doors; use a heavy-duty hasp.

Sold each, padlock not included.
