Bright steel butt hinge, in sizes from 25mm to 100mm, for doors, cupboards, gates, boxes and lids.
Description
Butt hinges are the classic leaf hinge for doors, cupboards, gates, boxes and lids. One leaf is screwed to the frame and the other to the door or lid.
Recess the leaves into the timber so the door closes neatly, and use screws that fill the countersunk holes. Doors are normally hung on two or three hinges, depending on weight.
Bright steel can be painted to match the door. Prime it first if it will be outdoors.

- Interior doors and cupboard doors
- Boxes, lids and small gates
- Repairs and DIY joinery
