Description

A solid galvanised plug with a male BSP thread. It screws into a female socket, tee or valve to close it off.

Wrap the thread with PTFE tape and tighten with a spanner or pipe wrench.

Galvanising protects the steel against rust, so it suits outdoor taps, tanks and underground fittings.

Pick the size to match the female thread you are closing off; 1/2″ is the common household tap size.

Used for:

• Closing off unused tee and socket outlets
• Capping old supply points
• Blanking tank and geyser fittings
• Pressure testing pipework
