Description

A Johnson coupler is a compression coupling that slides over plain-ended galvanised pipe and seals with rubber rings as the end nuts are tightened. It joins two pipes or repairs a cut-out section without threading.

Cut the pipe ends square, clean them, slide on the nuts and seals, centre the coupler and tighten evenly.

Used for:

• Repairing a leaking or burst galvanised pipe
• Joining plain-ended pipe without threading
• Borehole and farm water lines

Not for gas lines unless the installation is done and certified by a registered gas installer.
