Emjay Female Insert Tee 20mm x 1/2″

Description

An Emjay female combination tee: two barbed legs push into 20mm poly pipe and the side branch has a 1/2″ BSP female thread. Microjet, who make Emjay, describe it for fitting a sprinkler, standpipe or other male-threaded accessory into a pipeline, such as a pop-up sprinkler on a lateral. It is the 1/2″ partner to the 20mm x 3/4″ tee we stock.

Warm the pipe ends in hot water to ease them over the barbs and clamp each one with a hose clamp. Seal the thread with PTFE tape.

Used for:

• Pop-up sprinklers on lateral lines
• Standpipes and garden taps on poly pipe
• Irrigation branch take-offs
