Eureka Set Screw & Nut, Galvanised
Price range: R18.90 through R108.90 incl. VAT
Eureka galvanised hex set screws (fully threaded bolts) supplied with nuts, for bolting parts together. M6 to M12, 16mm to 125mm long.
Description
A set screw is a hex-head bolt threaded all the way to the head, so it clamps on any length. Each screw comes with a matching nut.
Drill a hole the same size as the thread, pass the screw through and tighten the nut with a spanner. Add flat washers for a bigger bearing surface, and a spring washer or nylock nut where there is vibration.
The galvanised finish resists corrosion.
Used for:
- Gates, burglar bars and steel frames
- Trailers, machinery and equipment
- Shelving racks and furniture
- General bolting jobs
Not a structural or high-tensile grade bolt.
Sold per Eureka retail pack. The pack quantity is shown in each option.
