Eureka SDS Plus drill bit with a tungsten carbide tip, for drilling concrete and hard masonry with an SDS rotary hammer. Sizes 5mm to 16mm.
Description
An SDS Plus bit has a 10mm shank with four splines that lock into an SDS chuck, so the hammer action is transferred straight to the tip. That makes it much faster in concrete than a normal masonry bit.
Use it only in an SDS drill. Withdraw often to clear dust, and let the bit cool between holes when drilling a lot.
For big holes, start smaller and step up.
Used for:
- Anchor holes in concrete slabs and beams
- Fixing gates, posts and steel to concrete
- Cable and pipe holes through concrete
- Heavy-duty fixing in hard brick
Needs an SDS Plus drill: it does not fit an ordinary chuck.
