Black phosphate coarse-thread drywall screw, Phillips drive, 4.8 x 40mm (#10), pack of 15, for fixing drywall to timber.
Description
A coarse-thread drywall screw with a standard Phillips head for fixing plasterboard to timber studs. Same series as the 4.8 x 60mm we stock as 1BF92U. Black phosphate finish for indoor use.
Embed at least 25mm in the wood and stop flush with the board. Overtightening breaks the paper face. Use a drywall bit for depth control. Interior only.
Used for:
- Plasterboard to timber studs
- Ceiling boards to timber
- General interior drywall fixing
Not for steel studs or outdoor use.
