Eureka yellow passivated Pozi drive chipboard screws with a smooth shank, for pulling chipboard and softwood joints tight.
Description
The smooth shank spins freely in the top piece while the thread pulls the bottom piece up tight, so the joint closes with no gap and the head does not sink too deep.
Use a Pozi driver or bit. In hardwood, drill a pilot hole about 2mm smaller than the screw diameter to stop splitting.
The yellow passivated finish gives good weather resistance. Many sizes come in a small and a bulk pack.
Used for:
- Wood-to-wood joints
- Chipboard and MDF furniture and cupboards
- Shelving, framing and DIY carpentry
Not for metal or masonry without plugs.
