Eureka Decking Screw, Square Drive, Ruspert Coated

Description

Outdoor timber screws with a T17 cutting point that cuts its own way into softwood, so no pilot hole is needed in the smaller sizes. The square drive grips the bit firmly, which means less stripping and lets you drive one-handed.

Eureka says the Ruspert coating is about 13 times more rust resistant than zinc or yellow-passivated screws, though not as good as 304 stainless. The wood-coloured trim head sits small and inconspicuous in the finished deck.

Used for:

• Deck boards to joists
• Pergolas and timber screens
• Wooden balustrades and steps

Not for coastal sites where stainless steel is needed.
