Description

A threaded insert that screws or presses into a pre-drilled hole in timber, chipboard or MDF and gives you a metal M8 thread to take a bolt. The lip sits flush on the surface and stops it sinking in. It is the M8 size of the M6 lipped insert nuts we stock, for heavier fixings such as table legs, bed frames and knock-down furniture.

Drill the hole to the size given on the pack and drive the insert in square so the bolt lines up. Use an M8 bolt long enough to engage the full thread.
