Description

An eye nut has a round eye on top of an internal thread, so it screws onto an M8 bolt or threaded rod to make an anchor point for rope, chain, wire or a turnbuckle. It is galvanised for outdoor use.

Screw it down fully onto the thread so the eye seats squarely, and load it in line with the thread. Do not use it for overhead lifting unless it is rated for that.

Used for:

• Anchor points for wire and rope
• Shade cloth and tensioning wires
• Threaded rod hangers

Not rated for lifting loads.
