Waterproof wet-or-dry abrasive sheet for sanding paint, primer, filler and metal, by hand. Grits 80 to 600.
Description
A sanding sheet with a waterproof backing, so it can be used dry or with water. Wet sanding keeps the sheet from clogging and gives a smoother finish.
Lower numbers are coarser: use 80–150 for shaping and removing paint, 220–400 for flatting primer and filler, and 600 for fine finishing between coats.
Wrap it around a sanding block for flat surfaces.
Used for:
- Flatting primer and filler before painting
- Sanding between coats of paint and varnish
- Car body and metal finishing
- Smoothing fibreglass repairs
