Ross Vernier Caliper, Plastic

Description

A light, non-scratching caliper for measuring dowels, screws, pipe and drill bits around the workshop. The jaws take outside and inside readings and the tail gives depth.

Being plastic it will not mark finished parts, but treat it as a handy guide rather than a precision engineering tool. For accurate engineering readings to hundredths of a millimetre, a steel or digital caliper is the better choice.

Used for:

• Sizing screws and bolts
• Measuring pipe and dowel
• Checking drill bit sizes

Not for precision machining.
