Reducing Bush 1/2″ Male x 1/4″ Female

Description

A reducing bush that converts a 1/2″ female port to a 1/4″ female thread, by screwing its 1/2″ male thread into the port. It is used to fit small gauges, valves and fittings to larger connections.

Seal the threads with tape or paste. Check both thread sizes on the fittings you are joining before buying, because 1/4″ and 3/8″ threads are easy to confuse.

Used for:

• Fitting pressure gauges
• Geyser and water heater connections
• Compressor and air line fittings
