Advanced Valves 22mm CxC vacuum breaker for geyser hot and cold lines, letting air in to stop siphoning and protect the geyser.
Description
A vacuum breaker from Advanced Valves with 22mm compression connections on both sides. If pressure in the pipework drops below atmospheric – for example when the mains are shut off – it lets air in so water is not siphoned out of the geyser.
This protects the geyser against collapse and prevents backflow. Vacuum breakers are fitted on both the hot and cold sides of the geyser, above the geyser, as the installation rules require.
Used for:
- New geyser installations
- Replacing faulty or leaking vacuum breakers
- Geyser compliance and CoC work
- Solar geyser pipework
Not for: 15mm geyser pipework.
Sold each. Geyser valves must be fitted by a registered plumber and the installation certified (CoC).
