PVC Nipple 20 x 55mm

Description

A short PVC threaded nipple joining two female fittings, for cold water and irrigation.

Seal with PTFE tape and hand-tighten plus a little more; over-tightening cracks plastic threads. PVC threads seal well with tape and do not rust. Hand-tighten, then add half a turn with a strap wrench. Check both female fittings are the same size.

Used for:

• Irrigation valves and manifolds
• Garden and tank connections
• Cold water plumbing
• Pump and filter connections
• Pool and pond plumbing

Not for hot water.
