Pratley Putty Standard Setting – 100g

Description

Pratley Putty is the original South African epoxy putty. Knead equal amounts of the two sticks together until the colour is even, then press it into place and shape it. It can be smoothed with a wet finger and is easier to apply under water than the quick-set version.

The standard-setting putty gels in about 50 minutes, hardens in about 4 hours and fully cures in 48 hours at room temperature, giving time to work it into place. Once hard it can be filed, sanded and painted.

Used for:

• Sealing leaks in tanks, pipes and gutters
• Filling holes and rebuilding broken edges
• Fixing loose fittings and tiles

Not for parts that run hotter than about 100°C, such as exhausts.
