U-bolt wire rope clamp (bulldog grip) for making loops and joins in steel wire rope. Sizes 3mm to 10mm.
Description
A U-bolt, saddle and two nuts that clamp two runs of wire rope together to form a loop or join.
Fit the saddle on the live (loaded) side of the rope and the U-bolt on the dead (tail) end. Use at least two clamps per loop, with a thimble inside the eye.
Choose the size to match your rope diameter.
Used for:
- Washing line and fence wire loops
- Gate stays and guy wires
- Shade net and trellis cables
- General rope rigging around the yard
Not for lifting or overhead loads.
