Eureka Drywall Screw, Fine Thread
Price range: R16.90 through R35.90 incl. VAT
Eureka black phosphate fine-thread drywall screws for fixing gypsum board to light-gauge steel studs and channels.
Description
Fine-thread drywall screws are made for thin metal framing. The tight thread holds well in light-gauge steel where a coarse thread would strip.
Embed the screw at least 10mm into the steel and drive it flush without tearing the board paper. Use a No.2 Phillips or drywall bit.
The black phosphate coating gives some corrosion resistance, for interior use only.
Used for:
- Gypsum board to light-gauge steel studs
- Ceiling board to metal channels
- Thin wood, plastic and aluminium
Not for timber framing (use coarse thread) or thick steel (use self-drilling).
Sold per Eureka retail pack. The pack quantity is shown in each option.
