Description
A U-bolt wraps around a pipe or post and passes through a plate or bracket, where the two nuts clamp it tight. It is a quick way to fix round items without drilling them.
The size is the rod diameter x the inside width. Choose a width that fits snugly around the pipe or post, and tighten the nuts evenly.
Used for:
- Clamping pipes to beams and brackets
- Fixing posts, aerials and poles
- Trailer, gate and frame work
