Corrugated joint fasteners, 25 x 16mm, for reinforcing butt and mitre joints in timber.
Description
Eureka corrugated joint nails are ridged steel strips that are driven across a joint so the corrugations bite into both pieces of timber, giving strong resistance to the joint pulling apart.
Position the fastener across the line where the two pieces meet, such as a mitre in a frame or a butt joint in a box, and drive it with a hammer until the ridges are fully embedded. Clamp or hold the pieces tight while driving so the joint closes up. Sold by weight in 30g packs.
Used for:
- Picture frames, mitres and box joints
- Reinforcing light timber joints
Not for hardwood or load-bearing joints.
