KonstruktIt Try Square
Price range: R27.90 through R31.90 incl. VAT
Try square from 150mm to 300mm, for marking and checking 90° angles in timber.
Description
A try square has a steel blade fixed at exactly 90° to a thicker stock, used to mark square cut lines across timber, check that edges and joints are square and set up saws and machines. It is a basic tool for carpentry, joinery and DIY. Choose the blade length to suit the width of timber you work with; we stock 150mm, 200mm, 250mm and 300mm.
Hold the stock firmly against a straight, planed edge and mark along the blade with a sharp pencil or marking knife. Check the square now and then by marking a line, flipping it over and marking again.
Used for:
- Marking cut lines
- Checking joints and edges
- Setting up saws
Sold each.
