Description

A medium-duty brass headpart (tap valve) for 15mm taps. The headpart holds the washer and spindle, and replacing a worn one stops a dripping tap or a stiff handle without changing the whole tap. We also stock heavy-duty brass and chrome headparts. Turn off the water supply before working and open the tap to release pressure.

Unscrew the old headpart with a spanner, wrap the thread with PTFE tape, fit the new one and refit the handle. Take the old headpart along to match the thread.
