Copper Tee 3/8″ Solder

Description

A copper capillary tee for 3/8″ copper tube, joined by soldering. Used on small-bore lines such as gas, refrigeration and instrument tubing.

Clean and flux the tube and fitting, heat evenly and feed solder until it runs round the joint. Small-bore copper is easy to kink, so support the tube near the joint while it cools.

Used for:

• Branching small-bore copper gas lines
• Refrigeration and air-con tubing
• Instrument and gauge lines
• Workshop compressed-air lines

Gas work must be done by a registered installer.
