Steel star (toothed) lock washers for M8 and M12 bolts, to stop nuts and screws working loose.
Description
A star or tooth lock washer has small twisted teeth that bite into the nut and the surface under it, so the joint does not shake loose from vibration. The size is the hole diameter: 8.4mm fits M8 and 13mm fits M12.
Fit it directly under the nut or screw head, on bare metal where you want the best grip, and tighten as normal. Replace washers once they have been used.

- Brackets and frames subject to vibration
