Steel spring lock washer for M6, M8 or M12 bolts, to help stop nuts and bolts working loose under vibration.
Description
A spring washer is a split, slightly twisted ring that sits under the nut or bolt head. As it is tightened, it flattens and keeps tension on the joint, helping to resist loosening from vibration.
The size is the inside diameter, matched to the bolt size. Fit it directly under the nut or bolt head, on top of a flat washer if the surface is soft.
Used for:
- Machinery, trailers and gates
- Brackets and frames that vibrate
- General bolted joints
