Heavy-duty steel door hinge for doors, gates and outbuildings.
Description
A heavy-duty steel butt hinge for hanging heavy doors, outbuilding and garage side doors, and gates where a standard hinge would sag. The thicker steel and stronger pin carry more weight. Use at least three hinges on heavy or tall doors.
Recess the leaves into the door and frame so the door closes evenly, and fix with screws long enough to reach solid timber. Prime and paint plain steel hinges used outdoors to stop rust.
