Description

A handy-size pack of 2.5mm resin core solder wire. The flux is inside the wire, so it cleans the joint as the solder melts and you do not need a separate flux. Not ideal for steel or galvanised sheet, which need an acid flux.

Clean the joint to bright metal, heat the work rather than the solder until the solder flows, and let it cool without moving. Work in a ventilated area.

• Joining and tinning electrical wires
• Electronics and small repairs
• Speaker, lamp and battery connections
