Red nylon threaded reducing bush for stepping down from a larger to a smaller thread on irrigation, borehole and garden lines.
Description
A red nylon reducing bush that screws into a larger female thread and gives a smaller female thread. Sizes are given larger x smaller, in the usual nominal mm sizes for threaded fittings.
Nylon will not rust, so it suits garden, irrigation, tank and borehole work. Seal the male thread with PTFE tape and tighten by hand plus a little, without overtightening.
Used for:
- Reducing tank and pump outlets to hose or pipe sizes
- Irrigation manifolds and valve boxes
- Borehole and JoJo tank connections
- Garden tap and sprinkler connections
