Emjay Female Insert Tee 20mm x 3/4″

Description

A barbed insert tee for 20 mm polyethylene pipe with a 3/4″ female threaded branch. Clamp the pipe on each barb.

Seal the thread with PTFE tape. Emjay fittings are a common SA standard for HDPE pipe. Use stainless hose clamps on each barb and heat the pipe end in hot water to ease it on. The female branch takes a tap, riser or valve directly.

Used for:

• Tapping a branch off a 20 mm poly line
• Connecting taps and risers on irrigation lines
• Farm and garden water supply
• Stock water lines and troughs
• Connecting sprinklers to a mainline
