Description

A nylon equal insert tee with three 15mm barbed spigots, for branching 15mm irrigation hose or polyethylene pipe in garden, irrigation and tank lines. The ribbed ends push inside the pipe, so there are no threads to seal. Nylon does not rust and is light, but it is weaker than brass, so use it on low-pressure cold water. We also stock the 25mm tee.

Cut the pipe square, push each end fully over the barbs (warm stiff pipe in hot water to soften it first) and secure each joint with a hose clamp. Check for leaks under pressure.

Used for:

• Irrigation and garden hose branches
• Poly pipe tank and pump lines
• Cold-water splits

Not for hot water or high pressure.
