Description

Mild steel section for fabrication, sold per metre so you buy only what the job needs.

Cut with a grinder or hacksaw, deburr the ends, and weld or bolt as needed. Prime and paint it (or galvanise it) for outdoor use, because bare mild steel rusts.

Sizes are leg x leg x thickness.

Used for:

• Frames for tank stands, shelves and benches
• Brackets and supports
• Lintels for small openings in light work
• Gate and fence frames
