KonstruktIt Copper Solder 97/3, 2mm – 250g

Description

Solder wire in 2mm diameter and the 97/3 tin-copper alloy used for soldered joints on copper water pipe and fittings. 97/3 is lead-free, which is what you want on drinking-water lines.

Clean the pipe and fitting until bright, apply flux, heat the fitting evenly and feed the solder in until a ring shows all round the joint. Wipe off flux residue once it cools.

Used for:

• Capillary joints on copper water pipe
• Geyser and solar pipework
• Repairs on soldered copper
• General copper and brass soldering

Not for: Electronic and electrical work – use electrical solder.

250g reel. Work with good ventilation and wear eye protection.
