KonstruktIt Copper Capillary Slip Coupler

Description

A straight copper capillary coupler without a pipe stop in the middle. It slides fully onto one pipe, then back over the gap, so you can repair a cut or burst pipe without springing the pipes apart.

Mark the centre position on both pipes before soldering so the coupler sits evenly.

Clean the pipe end and the inside of the fitting until shiny, apply flux, heat evenly and feed in solder until it runs right round the joint.

Used for:

• Repairing burst or cut copper pipe
• Inserting a new tee into an existing line
• Pipe alterations where the pipes cannot move

Needs soldering: use a compression coupler if you cannot use a torch.
