Copper capillary fitting reducer, 22 x 15mm or 28 x 22mm, with a spigot end that fits into another fitting.
Description
A fitting reducer has a spigot end the size of the larger tube, which pushes into a fitting, and a socket for the smaller tube.
Capillary fittings are soldered onto copper tube. Clean the tube and fitting with steel wool, apply flux, heat the joint evenly and feed in solder until a ring shows all round.
Used for:
- Hot and cold copper water lines
- Geyser and solar installations
- Repairs and alterations to copper plumbing
