Description

A brass gate valve with female threads on both ends, for isolating a water line. Turn the handwheel clockwise to close.

Gate valves give full flow when open and suit low-pressure and gravity-fed lines. Seal threads with PTFE tape. Check the size against your existing fitting or take the old part with you when buying. Turn off the water supply before starting and open a tap to release pressure.

Used for:

• Isolating water supplies
• Tank and gravity-fed lines
• Irrigation mains
