Description

A heavy-duty brass replacement headpart for standard taps, for when the spindle is worn, the thread is stripped or the tap leaks from the stem.

Turn off the water supply before starting, and use PTFE tape on threads that do not have their own washer. Unscrew the old headpart with a spanner, check the thread matches, and screw in the new one with its washer.

Used for:

• Worn or leaking garden and utility taps
• Taps that are stiff or will not close
• Plumbing maintenance
