3/4″ brass backnut for locking taps, tank connectors and float valves to a basin, tank or wall.
Description
A brass backnut with a 3/4″ BSP thread. It screws onto the tail of a tap, tank connector or float valve on the inside or underside of the tank or basin and clamps the fitting tight. Brass is stronger than plastic and will not crack when tightened. We also stock the 1/2″ size.
Fit a rubber or fibre washer for the seal and tighten with a spanner.
Used for:
- Tap tails on basins and sinks
- Tank and cistern connectors
- Float valve fixing
