Bonded sealing washer, 6 x 19mm: a steel washer with a rubber seal that makes screw fixings watertight on roof sheeting.
Description
A bonded washer is a steel washer with a rubber (EPDM-type) seal bonded to the underside. When the screw is tightened, the rubber squeezes against the sheet and seals the hole.
This one suits 6mm screws and has a 19mm outside diameter.
Used for:
- Sealing roof screws on IBR and corrugated sheeting
- Fixing flashings and ridge cappings
- Sealing screws on gutters, carports and lean-tos
- Replacing perished washers on old roof screws
Do not overtighten: a crushed seal will leak.
