Replacement bicycle pedals in plastic with a 1/2″ thread or steel with a 9/16″ thread.
Description
Replacement pedals for bicycles. Check the crank thread first: 1/2″ pedals fit one-piece cranks found on many kids, BMX and budget bikes, while 9/16″ pedals fit three-piece cranks on most adult bikes. Plastic pedals are light and cheap; steel pedals last longer under heavy use.
The left pedal has a reverse thread and tightens anti-clockwise. Grease the threads and tighten firmly with a pedal spanner.
Used for:
- Replacing broken or worn pedals
- Kids, BMX and mountain bikes
- Upgrading to steel pedals
