Description

A tee nut is hammered into a drilled hole in timber or board to give a strong metal thread for a bolt, as used in furniture, workbenches and climbing walls.

Drill the hole to the barrel diameter from the back face and tap the nut in until the prongs bite. Check the size against the existing part before buying.

Used for:

• Furniture and cabinet assembly
• Workbenches and jigs
• Removable fixings in timber
