KonstruktIt Acid Core Solder Wire 2.5mm

Description

A 2.5mm solder wire with an acid flux core, which cleans the metal as it melts. It is used for soldering steel, tinplate, galvanised sheet, gutters and other non-electrical metalwork, using a soldering iron or gas torch. We also stock plumbing and capillary solder.

Clean the joint first, heat the metal not the solder, and wash off flux residue afterwards, as acid flux corrodes the metal over time.

Used for:

• Gutters and sheet metal
• Tinplate and steel repairs
• General metal soldering

Not for electrical or electronic work.
