Boilermaker’s chalk, a card of 10 flat sticks, for marking cut lines and layout on steel.
Description
Flat soapstone-type marking sticks used by boilermakers and welders. Marks stay visible on steel, and on hot or dirty surfaces where pencil and marker fail. Oswald Brothers list this code as 10 per card.
Sharpen the edge on a file or grinder for a finer line. Mark on the waste side of the cut so the line does not end up on the finished part.
