Description
A three-piece metric hand tap set from Industro for cutting M12 x 1.75mm internal threads in steel, aluminium and other metals. The set has taper, intermediate and bottoming taps: start with the taper tap and finish with the bottoming tap for full threads to the bottom of blind holes. We also stock an Industro M14 x 2.0mm set.
Drill the correct tapping size hole, use a tap wrench and cutting oil, and turn back half a turn every turn or two to break the chips.
