Waldo 530mm hardpoint replacement blade for bowsaws, for cutting green wood, branches and logs.
Description
A 530mm (21″) replacement bowsaw blade from the Waldo/Jack range. Hardpoint (hardened) teeth stay sharp much longer than plain steel but cannot be resharpened, so the blade is replaced when blunt. We also stock a 600mm blade.
Check your frame length before you buy, fit the blade with the teeth pointing away from the handle and tension it until it is firm.
Used for:
- Pruning and cutting branches
- Cutting firewood and logs
- Clearing garden and plot growth
Not for metal or dry hardwood offcuts with nails.
